Venue: Plaza Verde (near North Exit of JR Numazu station) and National Institute of Genetics (only Aug. 4th)

This meeting takes a hybrid system: speakers and poster presenters should come to Numazu, while attendance can also be online.

Plenary Lectures at Convention Hall A, Plaza Verde 1F
Professor Axel Meyer, Univ. Konstanz, Germany will talk on parallel adaptations and sympatric speciation,
Professor Takashi Gojobori, KAUST, Saudi Arabia will talk on marine metagenomics of microbial diversity and evolution,
and Professor Shinya Miyagishima, National Institute of Genetics, Japan will talk on photosynthetic eukaryotes.

Open Lectures (given in Japanese) at Convention Hall A, Plaza Verde 1F
Director Kenichi Shinoda, National Museum of Science and Nature, Tokyo, will talk on origins of Japanese through ancient genomes,
Director Yoichiro Sato, Museum of Natural and Environmental History, Shizuoka, will talk how rice was accepted to Japanese society,
Professor Ituro Inoue, National Institute of Genetics, Mishima, will talk about genome analysis of SARS-CoV-2,
and Assistant Professor Yohei Terai, SOKENDAI, Hayama, will talk on origin of dogs through Japanese wolves and ancient dogs.
